turnstone.tv is a division of Turnstone Systems Ltd, a TV and Computing Consultancy Company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and Alderney, Channel Islands, which has been in business since 1990. (A turnstone is a small wading bird, capable lifting heavy stones in search of food - see logo above) The video/tv side of the business is run by Tom Bliss, who has 20+ years experience as a writer/producer/director in corporate and broadcast TV and is a member of the Director's Guild of Great Britian. The new media/computing side of the business is run by Katherine Bliss, who has 20+ years experience in programming, authoring, systems analysis, business analysis and in tv/new media production. turnstone.tv works closely with a network of like-minded multi-skilled freelancers, most of whom run similar production operations themselves. These are based in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and London. We also have a database of specialists, facilities and crews - again based all over the Uk and Europe - with whom we have close and long-standing ties.
